Olivia spent her first Fourth of July with friends at a picnic at one of our local parks. Our favorite part was the kids karaoke tent. Who knew kids these days know all the words to Michael Jackson songs? We had fun but unfortunately we had to leave early because a big storm came through.
Sometimes I find myself thinking I can't wait for Olivia to get a little older, so she can enjoy these things more, but then I remember how fast this time is flying by and I realize I can wait a little while.
The rest of our weekend was spent indoors for the most part. Olivia got so sick all of a sudden. She still managed to smile for the camera even though I know she was feeling miserable.
